  I worked at the Boys and Girls Club’s three locations in Grand Rapids to teach music lessons, prepare members for their annual spring concert, and to encourage self-confidence and discipline through cultivating an appreciation for music with the members. I also worked with the Boys and Girls' Film Club to create member-led film documentary. I supervised daily activities, offered homework help, and facilitated safe and fun environment for all members.   The PAC members’ primary focus is planning social events for all the apartments that encourage residents to interact with their community. The PAC team is responsible for Mud Bowl (September), Light in the Night (October), Super Sundae Monday (monthly) and the Spring Banquet (April). They also work with the RAs in planning some educational programs including the Mad Farmer Food Festival. Besides these, a number of other events happen throughout the year. Through planning, organizing, and supervising events for the Knollcrest Apartment community, it is the PAC members' goal to facilitate a sense of inclusion, support, and belonging within the community.
