  My duties were:• To provide support and assistance to users and Team Leaders in order to provide and efficient and effective microcomputer laboratory service to the school. • Cleaning the Lab • Support and maintenance of equipment in the computer labs• Daily interaction with students and lectures.• To trouble shoot and report on faulty computers hardware, printers and audio-visual equipment to maintain a service level.• To upgrade and reset software applications to maintain a service level. • Basic support of accessing Blackboard, internet and computer software.• To provide desktop hardware support to students.• To support basic desktop software and printing to students.• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.• Ordering and replacing hardware, as required.• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.• Communicating with staff or clients, either face to face or telepathically to help set systems or resolve issues.• Troubleshooting systems and network problems Show less
