    • Williams F1 Team

      May 2007 - Aug 2010

Nested in one of five aerodynamic development teams, I was responsible for managing and analysing computer simulations done within the team. In this role, I managed to reduce the amount of manual work required and increase throughput by a focus on automation and a more extensive use of scripting. Manage and analyse computer simulations for aerodynamic components. Propose, test, and implement improvement steps to improve the process.

      • CFD aerodynamicist

        Sept 2009 - Aug 2010
      • junior CFD aerodynamicist

        May 2007 - Aug 2009
    • Force India F1

      Sept 2010 - Nov 2012
      CFD aerodynamicist

One of five members of the future concept group, we explored and matured new concepts to be tested in the wind tunnel. Primarily my role included the ideation, design, and simulation of these race car components as well as results analysis and reporting. On an intermittent basis, I was involved in wind tunnel test planning, preparation, execution, results analysis, and reporting.Additionally, I programmed a proof-of-concept for a piece of data analysis software which eventually was adopted by the department. • Caterham F1 Team

      Dec 2012 - Oct 2014
      Senior CFD engineer

Led the simulation efforts of a small group of CFD aerodynamicists to cater to the needs of the development group developing the aft part of the car. In this role, my focus was not only on the aerodynamic development of race car components, but also on enhancing performance and development of workflows, improving process efficiency, and expanding simulation capabilities.

    • Ferrari

      Jan 2015 - Jan 2022
      Senior aerodynamic engineer

The main focus in this role was on the aerodynamic design, development, and delivery of rear-wing families to race-winning single-seater cars. This required strategic acumen to wisely distribute the components to be able to cover the performance requirements for a wide range of tracks. Delivery of these performance-critical components required cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders in various departments.Led designers in the integration of new regulations and the exploration of new conceptual directions, ensuring close attention to detail, and followed by diligent aerodynamic simulation.Manage model design component release, test plan and order for experiment work to improve aerodynamic understanding and unlock further aerodynamic performance.
