  As a Senior Program Manager I am responsible for broad strategic and administrative oversight as well as quality control of IRI's Western Balkans Regional Project, including thematic research, project design and reporting, project advocacy efforts, coordination of regional activities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, and public opinion surveys. The thematic areas of this portfolio include countering foreign authoritarian influence, corruption, extremism, and threats to democracies in a broader sense. I work daily with stakeholders from the Western Balkans, EU, and the United States, who are leading experts in the beforementioned fields, members of parliaments, government officials, media and civil society representatives. One of my main responsibilities is to build and maintain relationship with our key partners. Additionally, I am providing support to our political party programming particularly in the field of communications, campaigning, women and youth policy related work. Show less Managing IRI's Western Balkans program focused on countering threats to liberal democracies in the region. The program portfolio includes six WB countries: Albania, BiH, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. Through IRI's regional cross-sectoral platform - the Western Balkans Task Force on Threats to Democracy - I work with policymakers, thought leaders, experts, and journalists to address regional political challenges through policy action that addresses the interconnected problems of malign foreign influence, rampant corruption and brain drain. I help bring together governmental and non-governmental experts and facilitate consultations between pro-democratic actors and policymakers on opportunities to develop policy solutions.Managing IRI's flagship program - the Advanced Leadership in Politics Institute (ALPI) in Bosnia and Herzegovina which includes a network of 100 young political leaders from 15 political parties. Since its very beginning, I have worked on developing its unique methodology and adapting it to demanding political environment in the region. The program has enjoyed enormous success over the past few years and it grew to a network of young leaders that have risen to positions of political importance and a hub of youth political talent. I helped launch the ALPI program in Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania, resulting in a platform for cross-party and cross-border cooperation of over 200 young leaders from the region. In addition, I have been coordinating the cooperation between our field office and IRI's offices and networks, and our partners focused on connecting young democratic champions worldwide.Managing the BiH ALPI Women Network established in March 2022, an informal group of 15 women political leaders, civil society activists and businesswomen who advocate for women's rights and a culture of equal representation. Show less Leading IRI Bosnia and Herzegovina activities focused on the engagement of young political leaders and managing USAID funded Advanced Leadership in Politics Institute - ALPI program. ALPI is a two-year professional development program that brings together young political leaders from twelve political parties in BiH. The goal of this program is to create a platform for cooperation between young rising stars in Bosnian politics with different ethnic and ideological background on issues related to BiH’s integration processes. The program was launched in late January 2018 and since then it had two classes in BiH and its methodology was used to launch ALPI in Montenegro and Serbia. Currently, I coordinate ALPI in BiH and Montenegro. Coordinating IRI's NED funded regional program aimed to counter anti-Western influence in the Western Balkans and the rise of ethnonationalism. Through this program IRI empowers regional actors (members of IRI's Western Balkans Task Force) to implement targeted interventions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. These activities include measures to boost resilience to threats to the region’s democratic development.
