  Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd is a billion-dollar multinational car manufacturing corporation headquartered in India with operations spanning over 21 industries in more than 100 countries.At Mahindra & Mahindra, Zaheerabad, Farm Division, I helped fix the front cover coolant leakage from the H3 engine, a high-end engine, with the help of the head of the engine department Mr. Komaraiah. For this, I procured the 2D design blueprints of the engine and also took dimensions of the engine with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine). I then designed and assembled those parts in SolidWorks software and carried out CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis on it in Ansys software to make sure if the design of the components was ideal and the result had no leakage issue in the analysis. I found that the tolerances of the faulty engines did not match the design data. I further found out that it happened due to improper machining or improper machining techniques and with the help of my report the authorities passed on their complaint to their OEM supplier which then provided with components having proper tolerances issued by me and no leakages were ever observed again.
