Alex studied at Maumee Valley for 17 years, representing the entirety of his college preparatory schooling. In this small and inclusive environment, Alex was able to grow as an individual, and he learned early the core values of respect, tolerance, and the importance of maintaining a global perspective. In his senior year he was awarded the Maumee Valley Prize, awarded to a graduating senior who, throughout their time at Maumee Valley, demonstrated the most growth and maturation. Alex had the privilege of studying law at St. Anne's College, a school in the Oxford University system, during the spring semester of his 2L year. While there, Alex took classes in Comparative Constitutional Law, European Union Economic Law, History of the Common Law, and he also participated in the renowned Oxford Tutorial research and writing program.
