      Alex studied at Maumee Valley for 17 years, representing the entirety of his college preparatory schooling. In this small and inclusive environment, Alex was able to grow as an individual, and he learned early the core values of respect, tolerance, and the importance of maintaining a global perspective.       Conducted research to unearth a modern American Spirit, with the goal of utilizing ADR theory and practice to develop a process through which we could revive and facilitate conversations, and ameliorate polarization in today's America.For more background, see Professor Nancy Rogers' recently published article, "One Idea for Ameliorating Polarization: Reviving Conversations About an American Spirit" linked below. Mediated for truant students in local Columbus, Ohio schools. Served as President of the Moritz Truancy Mediation Project. During that time I oversaw a mediation team of 84 trained mediators, all of which volunteered their time in Columbus schools. Edited, proofread, researched, and wrote on subjects related to Professor Johnson's published article titled: "Creditors' Use of Consumer Debt Criminalization Practices and their Financial Abuse of Women".
