  Creation, implementation and monitoring of the Quality System at the National Public Health Reference Laboratory (NPHRL) and The National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS).The Quality System was derived from the GYS 170:2003 standard from the Guyana National Bureau of Standard and the ISO 15189. Also using the Caribbean Regional Standard for Blood Banks and Transfusion Services.I resigned from the Ministry of Health when I was in the capacity of the Acting Director for the National Blood Transfusion Service. Here, I overlooked the entire operations of the NBTS from Donor Registration to Distribution of Blood Components, Bugeting, Strategic Planning, Development of the Blood Safety Strategic Plan, Planning and executing of daily activities and the routine Human resources. During these four years I have managed to conduct researches within the Public Health arena, including Blood safety, needs of blood components for Guyana and others in quality management and process analysis. After these researches I conducted Continuing Education Sessions with the Ministry of Health Personnel and Health Professionals throughout the Regions of Guyana. Lecture Quality Management, which includes Operations Management, Compliance, Leadership, Financial Management, and Informatics, to the yearly Medical Laboratory Technician Programme within the Health Sciences of the University of Guyana through the Ministry of Health.• Verified and validated testing records within the Laboratory.• Conducted training and evaluated the competence of Team Members within the Laboratory of the Blood Bank and Reference Laboratory.• Monitored, calibrated and adjusted Laboratory equipment according to trends and deviation of their controlled results, using metrology.
