  The focus in 2020 was to provide full support to the HR Director, HR Leadership Team and the University Executives. The main areas of work for my team was COVID-19 (staff working arrangements), Entreprise Agreement (implementation of EA variations for cost savings measures ), Executives / Senior Management contracts and Academic Promotions process. The Remuneration unit supports the HR Workplace Relations and the HR Business Partners teams. The focus of the Remuneration unit is to provide guidance and formulate options on ways to reward employees performances as part of the broader People and Culture project endorsed by the University strategic plan 2020-2025. The Compensation and Benefits unit provides support to the broader HR teams: Recruitment of Talents, Employee Relations and HR Business Partners. The focus of the unit is superannuation regulation and interpretation on contracts, allowance framework, Clinical Academics and Executives contracts. 2016 UWA "Renewal Project" has led to the implementation of a new business model with de-centralised administrative units. As a result, I was transferred to the newly formed Business Performance and Compliance unit within HR. The unit is looking at innovative ways to optimise HR performance and ensure legal / tax compliance through improved processing and system upgrades. UWA HR Employee Benefits is the business unit providing advice and support to employees for superannuation, salary packaging and corporate benefits. This is a strategic unit part of UWA plan to attract and retain staff. Part time employment on superannuation new structure implementation at UWA. Office management and conference organiser.
