My research looked into how Romantic poets used literary techniques, such as ambiguity and irony, for political intention.

      Academic Affairs Role:- Built strong partnerships between the University, the SU and students to collaboratively address academic concerns. - Core member of the SU's democratic processes and operational planning as a trustee and member of Senate.- Composed the Annual SU Report to the University.- Delivered training to over 250 Academic Representatives, providing support to ensure top quality representation and skill development. This year, we saw a 12% increase in trained Reps, a 42% increase in engagement with our annual Rep conference, and a 100% satisfaction rate in SU support. - Developed an online presence for representation, such as creating a Teams Channel for Reps to post varying opportunities, feedback discussions and updates on SU/University initiatives. - Panel member/student representative on academic misconduct cases, student disciplinaries and appeals.Neurodiversity Campaigning:- Led a Neurodiversity campaign, successful in creating an increased neurodivergent community- Installed reasonable adjustments across academic policies and ensure all learning, teaching and assessment practices are neurodivergent-friendly through training. Collaborated with Academic Representatives and University Services, to adopt a 'Fit to Sit' approach to assessments, ensuring a form of self-certification for all students.- Created a Neurodiversity webpage.- Developed Neurodiversity working group with students.Generative AI Support:- Panel member on the annual QAA symposium to discuss AI & Integrity.- Core member of the University's AI working group, developing guidance and policy for University staff members.- Frequent feedback discussions with students on the topic of Gen AI. - Panel member at the 2024 QAA symposium, discussing 'Academic Integrity in the Post-AI World'.- 30 hours of CPD from various Gen AI conferences.- Provided Generative AI training to Student Union staff. - Student representative/panel member on multiple AI misconduct cases.
