  I was a professional nanny for over six years in which I worked for four different full time families, and one part time family. These households have had children as young as a few days old, to elementary age. Before becoming a professional nanny, I babysat often and still choose to babysit for families that are not my full-time job. Within this experience, I have worked with infant-middle school aged kids.

  Training and Professional Development Specialist

  As the TPD for the peer mentoring department at MSU Denver I planned bi-weekly staff training meetings for 30+ student employees. Alongside my supervisor I coordinated guest speakers or presenters, created custom trainings, and developed activities to boost engagement. Within these trainings at staff meetings, I worked to intentionally foster the diversity, uquity and inclusion in this workplace. Beyond these aspects of my job, I served as a source of support for the entire team and built intentional and meaningful relationships with those I worked alongside daily. Making the space comfortable and safe for all of the student employees who worked there, and the students who utilized the office, was a huge priority in my position. Show less

  Supplemental Instruction Leader

  As a Supplemental Instruction leader, I organized and held two weekly sessions that promoted beneficial group studying strategies and habits. I completed a course alongside them in which I had previously taken and received a good grade in. Not only did I help student academically, but also doubled as motivation and mentorship for students as they complete the course.
