Caitlin Roberts is a mother, daughter, higher education professional, sorority woman, mentor, friend, and survivor. And she never wanted to be the one to deliver this program. In late December 2019, in the early morning hours in her home, Caitlin’s partner and father of her child attempted to take her life. Several forces helped her to survive: the heroic efforts of law enforcement officers and medical professionals, the unending support of her family and friends, and a relentless need to stay alive for her young son. “I am lucky,” says Caitlin. “So many things went wrong that night, but everything that needed to go right did.” The following months and years were not without trauma and challenges, but each has led her to become who she is now. A fighter. A survivor. A champion dedicated to ensuring others never experience what she did.Statistically speaking, the likelihood of you being the victim of such a violent attack is small. But, when we think about our relationships (romantic, friendship, and family) we can learn an important lesson from Caitlin and her experience: we must do better establishing healthy boundaries. In her moving and action-focused program, Caitlin wants to empower you to develop clear, healthy boundaries for every relationship. My mission is to speak for those who can't, and help others avoid unhealthy relationships. I would love to speak with your organization. Show less
