      While interning at BTF, an educational non-profit that connects Turkish-American donors to various partner organizations on the ground in Turkey, I developed frameworks for four key initiatives: a mentorship program between Turkish high school and university students, international scholarship identification and attainment, BTF’s internship program, and operationalizing and increasing trust among current and prospective donors.

As a Research Assistant, I conduct literature reviews, data analyses, and contribute to drafting manuscripts on expansive topics such as the use of classical psychedelics in therapeutic and naturalistic settings, barriers and facilitators in group therapy, and more.       Jeremy helps coordinate the “Effects of Psilocybin in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder” study under Dr. David Yaden. He previously worked on the psilocybin-assisted smoking cessation research with Dr. Albert Garcia-Romeu and colleagues. Jeremy organizes the CPCR Journal Club and co-Chairs the Student Internship Program. He is primarily interested in the clinical applications of psychedelics, the therapeutic potential of altered states of consciousness and mindfulness-based interventions which alleviate suffering and promote wellbeing. He plans to pursue graduate studies and training in clinical psychology. Show less
