  Member of the Computational Team in the Albers Lab which focuses on Alzheimer’s Disease research. Using real-world Electronic Health Record data (EHR), developing software in the R programming language to extract comorbidities from patient files. Ported and modified legacy code to run with various inputs, and applied it to other medications and comorbidities, such as Lisinopril, an ACE Inhibitor, which is generally used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Presently, investigating over thirty comorbidities including hypertension, stroke, and diabetes, by extracting and marking EHR files based on physician diagnoses, and placing it into a new comorbidity-specific data table. The frequency of the comorbidity detected within this data table is quantified, analyzed, and researched. Show less

  Part of the WICC Executive Board and in charge of directly publicizing all of WICC's events, including running WICC's Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Part of the Technical Committee Development Team which works on implementing new features as well as up-keeping WICC's website. Part of the WICC Advisor Board working on a mentorship program in collaboration with LinkedIn as well as a Summer Alumni Meetup at the LinkedIn Headquarters in NYC and SF. Part of the WICC Executive Board and in charge of ensuring photographs are captured of WICC events & campaigns in order to aid WICC's publicity efforts, along with managing other creative photography initiatives as needed or desired. Responsible for leading and managing the entire WICC Photo and Film Committee. Photographer for the WICC Photo and Film Committee. Took photos and edited videos for WICC events.
