      Responsible for Engineering Delivery focusing on Cost/Schedule/QualityLeading a team, managing and Integrating Engineering Support for Hawk Mk132/Mk127Aircraft.Responsible for the management and co-ordination of Technical Queries, Aircraft / Equipment investigations /Modifications / Upgrades / Development activities.Technical approval of Technical query responses and functional approval of Customer comms through PCM's.Technical POC for In-country representatives such as Field Service Reps.Participation and presenting in various Customer forums including Joint Project Review Meetings.Control Account Manager part of a larger OBS, using Earned Value Management Principles and I.A.W. strict thresholds for delivery of contracted work I.A.W. an agreed WBS.In control of substantial budget. Includes detailed resource planning using estimates to completion across all engineering functions.Integration of Bid work involving coordination and collation of estimates based upon pre-defined requirements. Culminates in the review/approval of estimates, chairing of DAREO reviews for board approval.The lead on Engineering development programmes to clear various changes to aircraft components and/or systems.Involves the coordination of requirements planning against a given supplier, liaising with Procurement functions working to an agreed schedule of activities. Includes coordination of qualification data for review by the Subject Matter Experts. Requires a close working relationship and good communication between many functions including external organisations, Procurement, Management and the Customer.Functionally represent the department in various review forums which include senior management and Customer reps:-Monthly Project Reviews / Technical Reviews / Business Reviews.Local Safety, Health and Environment Risk Assessor and General Issues Coordinator. Show less SHE Plan CoordinatorSpecific area of responsibility - Two buildings covering four offices and circa 150 people. My role in conjunction with the plan manager was to ensure that provisions were in place to control and mitigate the risks associated with the area in question. Risks directly associated with my plan were:-• Slips trips and falls• Overseas and offsite working• Fire• Work Equipment• DSE (Display Screen Equipment)• Noise• Environment and energyFor each of the above risks the plan has a coordinator in place to manage the day to day duties of the risk in question and report via myself into the site SHE team. My role was to ensure that this structure remains in place and functions appropriately. My other roles as the coordinator included:-• Chairing monthly reviews and issuing minutes and actions• Populating and reviewing the corrective action register and distributing actions where appropriate• Compilation of an audit programme and the review of such to action any issues• Compilation of a process confirmation programme and the distribution and review of any actions• Carry out risk assessments when required.• Periodic review of the event plan to ensure actions are taking place when necessary e.g. housekeeping checks• Population and maintenance of local SHE notice board ensuring information is kept topical and upto date.In addition to the above I was considered the point of contact for all SHE related issues for our plan and had to report at a local and site level on a monthly basis. I was responsible for the communication of hazards and awareness training to all plan members.My role as plan coordinator came to an end when the Brough site footprint was significantly reduced and all employees were relocated to different areas within the site.As the number of employees had reduced the number of SHE plans reduced.       In partnership with a colleague, successfully founded and ran a portable appliance testing company for a period of two years.Qualified to (City and Guilds 2377, level 3 competent management of electrical equipmentmaintenance).Worked through business plan and set up the foundations of the business. Jointly responsible for every aspect of the day to day running such as accounting, marketing and test engineers. Duties included:-• Creation of company name and design of logo• Creation of appliance record sheets• Sourcing of company work wear / equipment / facilities• Marketing of the business• Submission of quotes/estimates.• Day to day management of accounts, including the provision of income tax.• Testing, this always took place at the premises of the customer.Client base of approximately 20 customers within the first year, included:-• Pubs• Care homes• Childrens Nurseries• Engineering companies• Estate Agents• HairdressersResponsible for the checking and testing of all appliances presented. Comprehensive check and test which would include the following depending on the class of the equipment(class 1 or class 2) and the voltage (110 or 230).–• Visual check of the body, plug and supply lead• Fuse check (including the correct rating for the appliance in question)• Continuity and Insulation resistance test to an acceptable value specified within the code of practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.• Earth Leakage test during function, also to the specifications of the above document.• Minor repairs• Provision of formal test report.
