  During my tenure at WWF-Pakistan, I spearheaded several key projects leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support conservation and environmental initiatives:Land Use Land Cover Classification: Conducted a comprehensive analysis of Lahore District's land use and land cover changes from 1990 to 2020 using the Google Earth Engine JavaScript API. I developed compelling animations that illustrated Lahore's urban growth over three decades, which gained significant attention and were featured on platforms such as Twitter, DAWN, and SAMAA News.Blog Writing: Co-authored a blog titled "From Farms to Buildings: Three Decades of Lahore’s Urbanization," published on the WWF-Pakistan website, highlighting the urbanization trends and their environmental impacts.Story Map Creation: Developed a Story Map titled "Reviving the Indus Bhulan," which showcased WWF-Pakistan's conservation efforts for the Indus River Dolphin. This project was submitted to ESRI's Story Map Competition 2023, highlighting our dedication to biodiversity and wildlife conservation.Interactive Web Map Development: Developed interactive maps using the ArcGIS Online Platform to monitor spatial activities under various projects.My experience at WWF-Pakistan honed my skills in GIS analysis, environmental communication, and interactive mapping, and reinforced my commitment to leveraging technology for conservation and sustainability. Show less As a GIS Associate, I was involved in several key projects at the Richard Garstang Conservation GIS Lab. I developed a temporal change map to analyze "pre- and post-flood conditions in the Manchar Lake region", leveraging the Google Earth Engine JavaScript API and Landsat satellite data. I also designed a GIS-based poster titled "Indus River Dolphin - A GIS Perspective," showcasing the lab's contributions to dolphin conservation efforts.
