      Working in our molecular lab I was responsible for DNA extractions of patient samples using the Thermo Fisher QuantStudio 12K Flex rtPCR, building of gene expression assays for 2d6, 2c9, 2c19 and 3a4/3a5 cytochromes and resulting these findings. I am also responsible for any changes made to our SOP’s and the design and implementation of new ones. Other responsibilities include testing of Hematology and Chemistry samples, preparation of mobile phase solutions for Liquid Chromatography, urine drug testing on the Olympus 400e and running confirmation tests for positive screens using the AB Sciex LC/MS/MS.
