      Aroma Community Partners was established as a UK-based non-for-profit organisation and charitable trust alongside two other students at the University of Bristol. It was esablished with the goal of supporting the Aroma Community Development Project, a community based organisation based in Siaya, Kenya created by Tom Ohawa in order to tackle issues of poverty and hunger within his own community through providing entrepreneurial education and a sustainable feeding program for the children within the community. Aroma Community Partners aims to support this project through establishing a more regular income flow to invest in an agriculture project which would make the school self-sustainable and allow the feeding program to continue. Through doing so, we engage in projects such as funds mobilisation, marketing, website development, budgeting and strategic planning. Show less

      A week-long conference in Bangalore with the University of Bristol, which involved working with students at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore to solve global issues and technological and environmental development. The conference involved leadership talks, networking, and training sessions with various start-up founders, local leaders, IIT-B students, and interns; immersion visits to local grassroots NGOs. The final part of the conference involved developing an innovative product, poster, video, and presenting a pitch in answer to the question, 'How can we ensure that innovative technology has economic and societal value?'
