  This summer I conducted research for Yesim Bayar, a professor who resides in the Sociology department at St. Lawrence University. Tasks included the following: searching databases and reading the materials within, compiling statistical and census data, formulating fact sheets, writing literature reviews, and conducting literature searches in order to compile extensive bibliographies on a wide range of topics.

I worked alongside Professor Gillis and other students in the Sociology Department to conduct research remotely throughout the Spring 2021 semester.Tasks included the following: transcribing interviews, categorizing and analyzing trends in quantitative data, and meeting weekly with team members to discuss progress.
