  Short term project, I was brought onto the project to supply and manage scaffolding for Downer's electrical division to speed up the progress of the job to meet completion dates. Scaffold Supervisor for Downer's electrical department,design and supply of scaffolding for electrical trades and scaffolding systems to design and erect heavy duty scaffolding for whinch set ups used on cable pulls. Other functions included scaffold register control, scaffold inspections, coordinating work with other trades and meeting targets.

  Fulfilling the role of Scaffolding Supervisor for 40 plus scaffolders, coordinating work fronts, materials acquisition, stock control as well as filling position of Trainer and Assessor for Verification of High Risk Competencies such as scaffolding, Rigging, forklift operations, elevated work platforms (EWP's), crane operation and developing assessment tools when required and lately extending my qualifications and knowledge to assist our H.S.E. department as a Safety Adviser which requires me to conduct site inspections and interact with employees regarding safety issues and assist with investigations.   Full time trainer and assessor for industry based qualifications with a Diploma in workplace health and safety. Conducting training for Working Safely at Heights and Confined Space Entry including breathing apparatus and C.S. supervisor. Also specialising in plant based units of competency for EWP over and under 11m, scissor lift, vertical lift and trailer mounted boomlift, forklift, vehicle mounted crane and gantry crane operation.Other courses conducted, Working near live electrical apparatus, Height safety equipment inspection.When not training I update and develop courseware, including courseware mapping to units of competency, conduct validation and moderation of training courses.Being the only full-time trainer with Coates Training gave me the opportunity to work along side a highly skilled and knowledgeable team who had a passion for their work and compliance was at the forefront of all training conducted. The vast amount of resourses at Coates also gave me the opportunity to learn from a team of specialists in regards to plant maintenance and access to a variety of equipment to add to my skillset.
