In 2015, the NBIF was ranked the third most active venture capital fund in its category by the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. Launched and managed a pre-seed stage venture capital fund including business case analysis, basic due diligence and risk assessments. Created an online resource center for entrepreneurs that included a business plan model, a guide for pitching to venture capitalists and a guide to equity investing. Developed and launched one of the largest business plan competitions in North America including branding, advertising, sponsorship and media relations.Led the investment in Radian6 (acquired by SalesForce.com) resulting in the largest financial return in the portfolio to date (28 times investment) Show less
