Responsibilities included curating two yearly student exhibitions and creating curatorial/artists statements to address diverse student body constituents.       Overseeing exhibition design planning, procurement, production, fabrication, installation and removal for all exhibitions at NYPL's research center(SASB), I ensure efficient and high quality work, reporting to the Director of Exhibitions, leading a team of full time Art Handlers and hourly Installation Assistants. Supervising the handling, care and installation of collection objects, audio visual and interactive elements, I work with Conservation, Registration, Curators, Collections Management, Finance, Digital Imaging, Creative Services, IT, Facilities, Security, HR, contracted exhibition designers, exhibit fabrication companies, lighting designers, graphic designers, architects, audio visual designers, construction firms, mount makers, display case manufacturers, art handling firms, and frame companies. I work with Risk Management and Procurement to create and monitor contracts for exhibitions and projects such as replacement gallery lighting systems and gallery refurbishments, using NYPL systems and tools that include Workday and ServiceNow.
