Identify, monitor and address all legislative requirements related to diversity for the organization.- Compile & present papers in relation to the D&I agenda & strategy to ExCo & the Board as required in line with the annual calendar.- Monitor internal and external diversity and inclusion trends, best practice approaches, and developments impacting policy and practice. Identify opportunities for change and drive change at all levels, locations and stages of the employee lifecycle.Following employee feedback and best practice research, I developed an industry leading (at the time) Parental Leave Program which won the Women in Mining Network Best Company Diversity Program award in 2018. Show less As the HR Advisor, I led activities for Newcrest's Graduate, Vacation and Scholarship Programs, including sourcing strategy, selection process (partnering with Careers team), coordinating deployment to sites, implementing development options within budget constraints (including travelling to site for CV coaching & careers discussions), & facilitating graduate transition at completion of their graduate program.In this role I was particularly proud of achieving our ASX gender diversity target of 40% females on the Newcrest Graduate program by December 2013 & winning the Australian Association of Graduate Employers Award for Best Vacation Program 2013/14 within a significantly cost constrained environment. I also provided generalist HR support to Newcrest's functional teams (Corporate & Minerals) on key annual HR activities including performance reviews, talent & succession (9 box matrix), remuneration cycle (salary review, STI review), and workforce planning/budget setting. Show less After returning from my overseas travel, I joined Newcrest in the HR Services team.In my role as HR Officer I was responsible for general administrative activities such as employment contracts, HRIS (SAP) data maintenance, relocation coordination, monthly HR reporting, maintenance of employee files, payment of HR invoices, conducting exit interviews, issuing probation completion letters, and general enquiries from various stakeholders.In addition, there were several key projects I was involved in, including the: - creation and delivery of online forms system - transition between HRIS databases (Empower to SAP), including extensive data cleansing, integration testing, employee training and onsite support for our Indonesian office- HR activities associated with the acquisition of Lihir Gold (LGL) In this role I particularly enjoyed leading the coaching and training of new team members, working on process improvements, and acting as the contact point for the Graduate and Vacation Programs.
