As a school it is focused on linking theory to practice and so as a student of the education program I completed rigorous training in the field of English Education with time in NYC public schools since the fall of my freshmen year. In my final year I completed my student teaching at "47" American Sign Language and English High School where I worked with deaf and hearing students in the mainstream classroom.
