  During this period DHL became the leading alternative to the postal services for the international delivery of documents and parcels.I was very actively involved in the start up, development and management of the business throughout Europe and Middle East.This is the subject of a book I have recently published "Fly by Night".

  I was President of the USA business for 3 years. After years of heavy losses we turned the business around into a profitable activity with greatly increased market share.In 1986 I moved to Sydney as Regional Director for Asia before leaving to return to NZ in 1993.

  I achieved a good deal in just over 18 months, especially in improving the visitor experience.Skyline had always done well due to it's facilities/locations. Improving customer experience became the icing on the cake.During my time the flagship business - Queenstown Gondola & Restaurant won the Best Visitor Attraction at the NZ Tourism Awards in November 1995.

  My role was to manage the franchise group, provide some leadership and promote our business solution to the marketplace.Since 2004 we developed Interface into a significant part of the financial services industry.We assisted dozens of small businesses with much needed working capital - well over $100 million in total funding.We were twice finalists in the high growth category at the national Small Business Awards.
