  Laboratory analyst - quality control

  - Completed four laboratory rotations where I developed a strong proficiency in various laboratory methods and procedures essential for supporting process and release testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products. Here's a breakdown of my experience in each lab:• Water Lab: Conducted tests for turbidity, hardness, conductivity, total suspended solids, alkalinity, pH, sulphate ions, total dissolved solids, and determination of soluble silica, iron, heavy metals, and phosphate analysis of water samples.• Fuel Lab: Conducted tests including flash point, pour point, distillation, basic sediment and water, Reid vapor pressure, specific gravity, and density analysis of raw crude, intermediate, and finished fuel products.• Petrochemical Lab: Performed photometry tests, grit tests, fines tests, and pour density measurements to assess the quantity of oil residue, impurities, pour point of carbon black samples.• Gas Lab: Utilized gas chromatography techniques for analysis.- Exhibited exceptional proficiency in executing laboratory protocols, thereby ensuring the precision and reliability of results.- Collaborated with team to conduct quality tests to ensure that chemical and microbiological parameters were within product specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.- Maintained and ensured the proper functioning of routine laboratory equipment.- Upheld a high standard of housekeeping, hygiene, and safety in the laboratory- Executed quality control activities in strict accordance with GLP and cGMP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal quality standards.- Prepared comprehensive scientific reports and presentations detailing findings.- Effectively communicated deviations in results to supervisors to facilitate timely resolution and investigated out-of-specification results.- Conducted product sampling.- Adhered to site safety regulations and ensured proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
