  From 2001-2005, I was Document Control Coordinator, releasing all new tools and parts and implementing all changes to drawings; I also maintained the Engineering Standards database; from 2005-2006, I created and modified technical engineering CAD drawings for medical devices and tools, using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software. I also used calipers and other tools to measure and inspect tools and parts. I was unofficial company photographer for social events.

  In 2003 I became a member of the Minnesota SolidWorks User Group and the Southern Minnesota SolidWorks User Group; in 2006 I became the User Group Leader of the Twin Cities SolidWorks COSMOS (later Simulation) User Group. I created this "colleague" job title to connect with other SolidWorks User Group members and SolidWorks employees I've met along the way. In 2008 I was nominated, and in 2009 I was awarded "User Group Leader of the Year" at SolidWorks World convention, among 150 user group leaders worldwide!
