  I conducted my PhD research in the Purdue Neurotrauma Group. The Purdue Neurotrauma Group uses advanced imaging (functional MRI, diffusion imaging, spec- troscopy), head-collision telemetry, and structural modeling to understand the mechanisms behind traumatic brain injury.Personal Contributions· Conducted hundreds of MRI scanning sessions· Scheduled participants and scan operators to collect MR data· Preprocessed several types of task-based functional MRI scans using shell and Python scripts· Localized neural activation and measured strength of response as a result of task performance· Identified neural resting state networks using independent component analysis (ICA)· Performed statistical testing using selected features to determine whether subjects’ neural activitychanged as a result of participation in contact sports· Authored one paper as a result of my research and co-authored several others· Presented results from my work at several professional conferences Show less
