Preparation of chemicals for various organic lab experiments: some include the preparation of Schiff's reagent & solid chemicals like acetanilide & CaCl2Occasional handling of student scheduling of make-up labs & assisting in sorting/cleaning experimental glassware. Assisted in dimerizing maturation protein on PP7 bacteriophage to increase the infectivity of variation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa K. This helps reduce biofilm formation in PAK cells, making treating conditions like cystic fibrosis much easier. Tasks: error-prone generation, PCR purification, DNA agarose gel electrophoresis preparation, nanodrop usage, autoclaving.
