  I am responsible for: • Workplans • Writing applications for funding • Signing off on educational and capacity building initiativesMy goal is to help create a sustainable fashion environment in Barbados and the Caribbean through the educational and commercialisation initiatives that help fashion enterprise become export ready and remain relevant in a competitive, globalised and mostly online fashion market. My responsibilities are to help fashion designers access capital for expansion and growth of small fashion businesses so that they can become viable export medium to large scale businesses. I also look forward to the BFC mobilising efforts to create a more enabling environment for small fashion business especially with regard to simplifying and reducing the costs of imported inputs for fashion design.
