  Sigma is a fast-track leadership development programme, which has been created to develop future Business and Engineering leaders through a series of challenging roles, development and training opportunities.I previously acted as a project manager on the Successor Submarine programme based at Barrow.I then was the commercial manager on the OPV Naval ships programme based at Glasgow.Following that I was a commercial manager at Applied intelligence in the Commercial Solutions business selling fraud detection software based in London. I finally became the Operations Business Manager in the Military Air business based at RAF Coningsby, which is where I completed the programme. عرض أقل I joined BAE Systems into a professional project management development programme in 2007. Some of my most recent key activities involved: -• Provide challenge and support to the Typhoon Project export cost challenge. This involves providing project management support to commercial, providing actual costs of all airframe manufacturing, engineering and project management activities, towards driving down the cost of business. • Project Manage the delivery of the Tr2 & Tr3 Centre Line Pylon contracts. This involves managing the entire process, including authorising budgets, monitoring schedules/programmes, spend, achievement, variances, estimates to completion, milestones, actual deliveries and issue management.• Manage and Co-ordinate the Contract Status Report process for the Salam Prime Contracting Office on the UK Final Assembly contract, to ensure effective reviews, governance, challenge and action planning of the Contract’s trading positions.Other key responsibilities:-• Provide project management support to Finance for CSR and IBP (Contact Order Intake, Sales, Margin and Cash) forecasting, ensuring finance requirements for contract data are satisfied. • Champion Risk and Opportunity management. • Manage the Earned Value Management processes such that authorised budgets, schedules, spend, achievement, variances, estimates to completion and contract outturn are effectively managed. • Manage the Project Demand Resource Data and the subsequent IBP activities• Provide project control support to the supply chain based activities, tracking value based orders between partner companies and equipment failure liability (cost of repair) with suppliers. • Provide project control support to Commercial activities including Estimate request returns, price investigations & make or buy analysis. • Mobilise new business activities and estimates into formal Performance Measurement Baselines. عرض أقل
