      Participated in the Prastio Mesorotsos Field School run by Dr. Andrew McCarthy and Dr. Lisa Graham. Excavated a Bronze Age stone structure, finding ceramics, bone, and stone walls. Gained experience in Flotation, use of total stations and finds cleaning, drawing and logging.

      Assisted in excavations of an Iron Age Settlement in the Scottish borders, run by Dr. Tanja Romankiewcz, to help discover local populations' reaction to invading Romans. Excavated a roundhouse and three outer ditches. Gained experience in Phosphate sampling and section drawing. Developed skills in flotation and excavation techniques. In collaboration with the Trimontium trust, worked with volunteers, experience in heritage outreach

Continued to work within the Bronze Age trench, working with a complex plaster floor and feature. Completed plans, elevation and section technical drawings of the trench. Furthered experience in flotation, post-excavation and excavation.

      EAOP is a volunteering society that runs sessions in schools and extracurricular clubs teaching children about archaeology. As Events Officer I oversee the organisation of our wider outreach events, such as the Family Fun Day and IntoUniversity days.

      Mentorship Week

      I took part in a mentorship week lead by Managing Director, Andy Heald. Throughout the week I learnt about commercial archaeology and completed tasks each day. Tasks included creating a consultancy proposal for a potential development and an application for the Heritage Fund. The week concluded with an insightful tour of the National Museum of Scotland's Early Peoples gallery by former curator and Keeper of Archaeology David Clarke.
