  -Contracted to teach two students (One freshman and one senior) art lessons, consisting of 4 weekly art lessons focusing on fundamentals of art through principles of design, color theory, and fun drawing and painting exercises. Concurrently, working as an advisory and mentorship role for students while they work on their art projects for their Faith In Action end of the year project. Role was 50% mentoring and advising students through their projects, and 50% teaching formal lessons in fundamentals in art on a high school level.- Bought materials for students to use in this contract position.-Created lesson plans for a month and a half long contract job and coordinated with students meeting times. Lessons consisted of fundamental drawing skills with mediums such as charcoal, graphite and pen. Painting lessons consisted of color theory, and principles of design with acrylic painting supplies. - Students "Faith In Action" projects were conceptualized with ideas of service, social public art, art therapy and mental health topics related to pieces. - These lessons were contracted due to school not having a formal art program in their high school, and classes were taught in person with COVID safe protocols on the Ohlone Community College campus in Fremont, CA for the private college preparatory program through Averroes High School.
