  As a program coordinator I was responsible for the logistical matters pertaining to the retreat, cultural activities, and community service project. This included but was not limited to: arranging lodging, supplies and transportation, keeping detailed records of costs and training the team before the program. During the program I served as an emergency contact for parents and students. Moreover I helped tutor the Philosophies of Leadership class.

  The Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies at Charles University.Adjunct Faculty at Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE Prague).As a teacher, I was facilitating classes in which US under-graduate students develop skills, knowledge, and understanding that help them communicate and engage more appropriately and effectively in the Czech Republic as well as in other intercultural contexts. We explored various topics in intercultural communication in the context of their experience abroad and practised intercultural learning processes that students can apply when working across difference in a wide variety of contexts. Students in this class increase their own cultural self-awareness and develop personal leadership skills to help them become more effective in an interdependent world. Show less
