  Implement and support emergency, critical care and life support systems throughout the organization and at ancillary offices (centra-owned, private research centers and physician offices). Support includes in-theater work during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including, but not limited to, cardiac catheterization and vascular imaging, open-heart and general surgery. Also provide technical support for implementation and support of other mission-critical technologies and enterprise communications systems maintained by the Clinical Engineering department. Negotiate and manage service and support contracts/agreements with vendors for equipment, systems, and services. Provide 24 X 7 on call support. Mentor new employees. Provide supporting role duties to Director of Clinical Engineering on medical safety and capital equipment procurement committees, and with preparations for inspections by regulatory agencies (OSHA, JCAHO, etc.). Experience includes new IT business & clinical systems implementations including paper to electronic conversions for major business divisions, system upgrades & integration enhancements to existing systems (software & hardware). Comprehensive IT / clinical systems project management as part of building renovations and new medical center / facilities construction while adhering to applicable federal and state facility regulatory requirements, interim life/safety measures and infection control practices. Projects are managed based on a documented process developed by our PMO team using the PMI PMBOK as a foundation combined with framework elements from water-fall, agile or hybrid approaches applied to best support project success.
