  During this time, I learnt the significance of keeping track of what I did through journaling. Improving this faculty spilled over to my daily life to help keep track of what is done and what needs doing with which priority.We investigated whether the gene expression of grainy-head like protein is dependent on the WNT pathway. For this, we designed an experiment that allowed us to measure changing protein levels depending on canonical and non-canonical WNT signaling.

  I taught Cuban Salsa in a semi-professional setting. In my classes, the students were quick to progress their skill and were looking forward to the weekly classes. Feedback from the students and other teachers were positive and helped me progress my own teaching- and communications competence.I was also honored to teach the yearly Salsa crash course for Europe's largest decorated ball: the Polyball.

  Standup Paddling Instructor

  It is a pleasure to teach Paddling and Standup Paddling classes on the lake of Zurich around two times a week. It is invigorating to teach people something new. Participants have a lot of fun while they also learn about the sports and technique. While I also have a lot of fun, I get to practice speaking to and animating a group of twenty or so people.

  I was hired to finish a project that I started during my Master's Thesis. Through group discussions and feedback to newest data, I was able to complete it. Tight deadlines and a high workload improved my stress resistance and I learnt to deliver high quality results even under time constraint.   I was part of a research team that went to ~50 schools in and around Zurich.
