Recruit for and maintain contact with participants. Deliver personal and career development course curriculum, including topics of job seeking and training needs. Mentor participants in writing resumes, cover letters and interview skills; each individual exited the program with a professional resume & cover letter. Administered and interpreted the Career Decision Making Assessment tool; searched online for jobs/careers based on the results. Maintain participant records and complete quarterly reports related to grant funding. Developed and maintain contact with state legislators, local businesses, community leaders, and human service organizations and professionals. Participated in Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry “Rapid Response” teams for dislocated workers in Indiana and Armstrong counties. Show less
