  The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is an agency of the Republic of India, responsible for the development of technology for use by the military, headquartered in New Delhi, India.During my 6 month training at Defense Research and Development Organization, I worked in the department of Blast and Damage Study, of Terminal Ballistic Research Laboratory(TBRL) located in Chandigarh area, Punjab.TBRL conducts basic and applied research in the fields of high explosives, detonics and shock waves. It is also involved in evolving data and design parameters for new armaments, as well as assessing the terminal effects of ammunition.I worked under the guidance of Ms. Rajesh Kumari Sc’F’ (Group Director Zone III, BDS(Blast and Damage study), TBRL. My Duties Were:Field duties-During testing of armaments I worked with Scientists of TBRL and gained Knowledge Detonator wires, testing techniquesInstrument Studied:BLASTMATE, GRAPHTECH,DIGITAL PHOSPHOROUS OSCILLOSCOPE,DIGITAL STORAGE OSCILLOSCOPES,MAGNETIC RECORDERControl Room Duties- Data analysis, Study of Shock Wave Parameters, Graph Plotting of After Shock effects.
