    • Center for Advanced Energy Systems

      Mar 2017 - Jan 2018
      Energy Analyst

Worked on a US-DOE program that conducts industrial assessment audits in companies and provides recommendations on design optimization, energy saving and waste management. As a senior energy analyst I learned about a wide variety of manufacturing sectors in the Greater New York City Area. I worked closely with over 10 companies visiting their facilities collecting data and making recommendations which would save energy, increase productivity and reduce waste. My reputation among my coworkers was as a researcher who would find the new opportunities in any sector which we worked. I immersed myself in various engineering topics becoming the resident expert in HVAC, industrial design and productivity. Show less

    • Rutgers School of Engineering

      Oct 2017 - May 2019
      Graduate Research Assistant

My research focus is on the development of advanced additive manufacturing processes based on nanoparticle sintering. My thesis titled ' PULSED LIGHT SINTERING OF NANOMATERIAL INTERCONNECTS EMBEDDED INSIDE MOLDED PDMS' establishes my work in successfully devising a method to manufacture flexible and highly conductive interconnects using PDMS polymer and Silver nanomaterial. The interconnects manufactured have very low resistivity in static conditions (4.35 ± 0.4 µΩ-cm ), very small change in resistance upon being deformed up to 40% strain (8.385 ± 0.09 µΩ-cm) and a very low electrical hysteresis after 1000 deformation cycles (1.675 ± 0.225 µΩ-cm).This research can be applied to applications where electrical contact is necessary between parts undergoing repeated motion (For example: The hinges of laptop keyboard and screen, arms of a robot, sports therapy and rehab, soft robotics, body mounted sensors, strain sensing etc. Show less
