      2017 - 2019
Master of technology - mtech structural engineering 8

I did my Masters in Civil Structural engineering with very good academic record. I scored really well in the core subjects relate to structures. My final year project was based on the damage detection in high rise structures. However, Due to lack of instruments and facilities I was not able to perform the experiments therefore my thesis was compilation of study and conclusion of various research papers.

Msc earthquake engineering and infrastructure resilience

This program combines theoretical perspectives and practical understanding of the structural behavior due to earthquake forces. I am developing an appreciation of how to design an earthquake resilient structure and how to retrofit the affected structures through hand-on experience with the softwares and most advanced earthquake shaking table.

      May 2017 - Aug 2018
      Civil structural engineer

I joined Fluor Daniel as a GET. This being my first company taught me a lot of professional etiquettes and helped me to grow as a working individual. Initially, I attended a training of one month where all the concepts of petrochemical industries were taught to me following which I was a part of stick built team in TCO project (largest project of oil and gas till date) where my job responsibility was to design the pipe racks to support the cables and the pipes. Then I was deputed to the foundation team where I learned the design of concrete sub structures. I frequently got Certificate of appreciation for my hardwork in the company. In Fluor, I mainly worked on international codes and interacted with clients from across the world. Show less

      Civil structural engineer

I worked as Civil Structural engineer in GR Infraprojects Ltd. for exact 3 years. My role was to design Buildings and Steel structures and to get the drawings ready for approval proceeding to execution at site. All the design work was based on Indian codes mainly (IS 456:2000, IS 800:2007, IS 13920:1993 and some IRC codes) and Staad and Tekla structural designer was used for Calculation purposes. It was an amazing experience working with GR Infraprojects. It helped me to learn new technicalities, detailed design concepts and understanding of detailed drawings. I also learned to manage the team and manage the work pressure. Apart from Job responsibilities my mentors also helped me to improve my skills by arranging training sessions for new softwares and many other soft skills.Overall this experience helped me a lot to become a confident professional. • Fairhurst

      Nov 2022 - now
      Structural engineer

My day-to-day job responsibilities as a structural engineer with Fairhurst include the analysis and design of building structures (steel, concrete, and timber structures).1. The main project I am working on is the design and analysis of an 11-storey RCC structure located in Reading City Center. It is a midsized residential development project. I have completed this project from the start to the end of the construction phase. I carried out the analysis and design using Tekla structural designers and Tekla TEDDS based on the Euro code and BS standards. After the completion of design calculations, getting the drawings prepared by the CAD team was my responsibility. I also attended a few site visits to check the progress and answer site queries. Answering site queries and liaising with the architect and other parties was a very important responsibility for this job.2. Other than this main project, I was involved in many small-scale projects of structural assessment and strengthening work for TESCO warehouses. Writing and submitting structural assessment reports.3. I did major restrengthening work on a large hanger structure made up of steel trusses. I attended the site for 3 days to study the existing structure, created the model following the design guidelines used at the time of construction (1950's), and recommended strengthening work to support the additional load due to the installation of a PV panel and a new roof.4. I designed a few portal frame structures for Home Bargain. Show less
