Responsibilities: • To perform and documentation of daily Linear Accelerator warm –up and QA procedures• To explain all procedures to patient before starting making immobilization devices, CT simulation and treatment • Preparation of immobilization devices• To perform the CT simulators to identify the areas to be treated and those to be avoided • Follow the prescription of radiation oncologist• Position and stabilize patient in preparation for treatment delivery • Monitor the patient carefully during the treatment • Operate the treatment machines, associated equipment and computer verification systems to deliver the planned treatment accurately• Advice the patient about self-care procedures for radiation treatment side effects, and refer the patient for further assistance • Participated in weekly chart rounds along with Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist, maintain records of daily treatment • Giving training to junior Radiation therapy Technologist, junior Nursing staff, regarding Radiation safety, clinical work flow and departmental standard operating procedures• Isocentric marking on patient body also has been performed periodically• Patient time management and appointment scheduling has been done.
