  As a Holiday Activity Leader I ran sports activities, as well as arts and crafts for the children along a side a team of people. My duties involve making sure all the rules of the pool are adhered to so it’s safe for everyone to use. Another part of my job is maintaining the cleanliness of the poolside and changing rooms. As a Swimming Teacher my main role here was working with Children for aged 2 ½ year up to 16 as well as Adult Swimming lessons, all of which ranged in ability. As part of my employment here I taught Swimming lessons for thirty six weeks to deaf children.

  I have also previously held a voluntary position within the Tile Hill Trojans Basketball Club for two years. My role was to Coach the Tile Hill Trojans basketball team for two years. This involved Coaching sessions as well as matches which were played as part of the Leicestershire Basketball League.

  My role involved assisting Head Coach Tim Donaldson in organising basketball camps for children aged 6-18. This included setting up drills, coaching the correct techniques, sportsmanship and rules. I also had to referee and table official during my time.

  I previously worked at Warwick Swim School. My role here was to teach Swimming to Children from the age 3 up to 11 on the ASA swimming pathway. I taught classes as well as one to one sessions and two to one sessions.

  Girls Head Coach

  I was employed part time by the Worcester Wolves Basketball Academy as Girls Basketball Head Coach. My role is to Coach Basketball Fundamentals to Girls aged 6-18 years old. The cub started out with six members, this has now grown to 30 which has allowed me to enter them into a Central Venue League so that they can compete in regular matches in which I coach them. In the Central Venue League I match coach a mixed U12s/ U14s team in which we are currently undefeated. As well as this I coach an under 16s boys development team who I am working with to prepare them for u16s National League next year. I also coach a young dunkers session for U7s working on their fundamentals of movements regarding speed, agility and quickness as well as basketball specific skills. I am also working with the U12s squad who are competed in a regional tournaments annually. Show less

  Basketball Coach

  I also ran basketball and wheelchair basketball sessions for the Dizz Kids Dyspraxia group. These are fun inclusive sessions which are aimed at getting children with Dyspraxia actively participating in sport. There were three age groups, under 7s, under 12s and under 16s.

  I ran the Swimming School at Xcel Leisure Centre. My role was to organise rotas, oversea staff, design pool timetables, deal with customer comments, enquiries, oragnise training, develop a youth volunteer programme and deal with the day to day running of the swimming school. My role was to work with the PE coordinator to develop all areas of the PE curriculum and the areas for development in regards to the Sports Premium Senior Sports Coach and Swimming Development Officer For Coventry sports Foundation.I ran the Swimming School at Xcel Leisure Centre.
