  Ÿ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES:Planning and co-ordination of health activities under the branch and in the region(s).Ÿ Management and supervision of staff under.Ÿ Recruitment of new staff when needed.Ÿ Training of staff.Ÿ Participation in the establishment of new IHCP clinics if need beŸ Management of the warehouse for medicines and equipment for the clinics, including ordering, distribution and maintaining stock records at the branch level.Ÿ Supervision of drug use in the clinicsŸ Collection, collation, analyzing and compile monthly statistics.Ÿ Attending relevant meetings with other organizations.Ÿ Dialogue with the community.Ÿ Submit monthly narrative report on health activities, supplies and statistics through the SRCS Branch Chairman/Secretary to the SRCS Deputy Medical Co-coordinator copied to the Medical Co-coordinator and other partners (Federation, ICRC, UNICEF, WHO, etc).Community Orientation and MobilizationŸ Co-ordinate and encourages collaboration with community resources persons in the utilization of the MCH/OPD services.Ÿ Assists villages in selecting Health Committees (HCs), Community Health Workers (CHW’s) and Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs); assessing the needs; and setting health priorities in the villages.Ÿ Co-ordinate and assists in educating communities on the prevention of the spread of communicable diseases and takes appropriate action to control the outbreak of disease.Ÿ Participates in the planning, development and delivery of appropriate health education and social mobilization programmes for the community to raise awareness of health related problems. This includes supporting heath enhancing practices and techniques and discouraging harmful practice such as pharaonic circumcision.Ÿ Co-ordinate and assists the Health and/or other relevant committees in the development and implementation of cost recovery programmes.
