Coached associates to improve efficiency and accuracy through implementation of new claim handling techniques. Improved average days to pay metric by leveraging prior experience with the Centralized Property Team and providing feedback when files we mis-assigned.• Responsible for reviewing and assigning 60 total loss claims related to the Dayton tornados in May 2019. • Led a team of up to 12 associates, many new to role, within the Centralized Property Team. Responsible for training them on how to process and settle first party property claims. Utilized technical knowledge from prior roles to develop the associate to be customer focused and efficient. • Implement innovative ideas within the department by partnering with Property Technical Office to deploy video collaboration among a pilot group of associates. The new tool was adopted with a high degree of utilization and success, and is now used daily throughout the department.• Redesigned the Centralized Property National Catastrophe Externship which allowed Centralized Property associates to experience Catastrophe claim handling as a development opportunity.
