ISO20653 and ISO16750 were consulted for the development of this design.• Collaborated with the biggest Caterpillar distributor in Peru on an award-winning IoT project to develop sensors for excavators to identify when the bucket teeth fell off. • Developed a TCP/IP-based API enabling real-time communication between high-profile mining machinery, enhancing operational efficiency and integration across critical systems.• Created solutions using python to produce automatic weekly fuel consumption reports for mining trucks extracting data directly from the vehicles. This lowered data analysis time by 90% and the processed data was later used to create predictions of fuel consumption.• Developed detailed manuals and full code documentation for all JavaScript applications using JSDoc.• Identified and extracted parameters from mining trucks via CAN protocol, integrating real-time data into an online platform for enhanced monitoring and visualization.
