  Event Marketing Manager

  Tasked with the mission to increase awareness of Højmark Rejser to Scandinavian travellers in the Alps, I worked with 100+ hotels, restaurants and local businesses spread out over 4 countries to create a foundation for hosting promotional events all over the region. Over the 5-month period, we successfully hosted over 150 events ranging from dinners and guided tours to large scale parties. During the season we successfully obtained over 10k lead for potential new guests.

  F&B Manager

  As part of my studies, I travelled to Bonaire, Dutch Antilles, for a 6-month internship as F&B Manager over the 4-star Harbour Village Beach Club resort. While it wasn't typical to obtain a Managerial role of that capacity during a practical internship, I was hired a such due to my already extensive experience in the hospitality sector. My time there saw me supervise 30+ F&B staff and 2 F&B outlets on the property. I successfully increased the number of covers by 35% and also instated a complete overhaul of the pricing of F&B items at the property to increase margins by another 20% through a comprehensive cost analysis. One of my prouder achievements was convincing the property owner to invest in refurbishing the main restaurant. This included installing a roof covering the entire restaurant as weather conditions had very detrimental effects on the covers sold as it was an open-air restaurant. Show less

  Alongside my studies at Hotelschool The Hague, I spent much of my free time working at AQ Services, a Mystery Shopping company based out of The Hague. In my role as Business Manager, I managed the quality control campaign for one of our biggest clients, BMW, in Sweden & Norway. The campaign saw me coordinate, recruit and train mystery shoppers to visit BMW retailers across the region to evaluate both sales and after-sales processes. During the end of my stay with the company, BMW successfully renewed their contract with AQ Services in these markets. Show less

  This role saw me manage campaigns for 60 partnerships for our flagship events, pioneering the role within the company. My successful time in the role helped grow sponsorship revenues dramatically & increased retention by 34%.Considering my experience with the event's production, my role also saw me contribute to the development of TNW's proprietary ticketing platform, EarlyBird.
