  My team and I setup a new electronic controls department at Hatco. We developed a new modular control system including a touch screen user interface that we applied to eight different product lines in two year. My electrical engineers collaborating with consultants in the US and China developed our new line of induction cooking hobs with user interface controls that leap frog competitor's offerings. To support this, we setup an electronics test lab with capabilities to do all critical electronics testing including UL, FCC, and CE safety, EMC emissions and immunity. Show less My team led projects to develop many new products for Hatco including new product lines of heated and refrigerated food holding wells which grew to become core products in our lines. We also developed industry leading conveyor toasters and new lines of hot food merchandising equipment. One of my key accomplishments in this role was to standardize our product development process including the introduction of a stage-gate process with standards for product specifications, design documentation, testing, and product reviews.
