  I am a patient advocate for VN CARES, an organization at UC Davis dedicated to providing educational and health resources for the Vietnamese community. As a part of the research and education department, I create presentations concerning pertinent health issues such as blood thinners and cancer screening resources using my analysis of various research papers and articles. We also create infographics that highlight and spread awareness about health and resources for the greater UC Davis community. As a clinical intern I offer my services to the Paul Hom Asian Clinic in Sacramento. I work directly with patients, completing numerous tasks such as taking vitals, in room translation for medical doctors/medical students, and handling/logging out labs. Show less
