      During Amanda Crawley Jackson's Post-Traumatic Landscapes Symposium, I introduced the 2005 monograph 'Bleed' of award-winning photographer Simon Norfolk: his portfolio of landscape photography heavily centres around the theme of conflict and its remains. I contributed a chapter to Amanda Crawley Jackson and Emily-Rose Baker's recent book 'Invisible Wounds: Negotiating Post-Traumatic Landscapes', addressing how we negotiate historical trauma in the present and the visible remnants of the past. Co-written with Nyeiri Gharib, the article explores the representation of trauma in contemporary literature and photography.

      This role involved liaising with academic staff to develop an upcoming project in the Department of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sheffield: I was responsible for interviewing prospective candidates for the Transforming and Activating Places (TAP) project and feeding back performance reviews to the managing body.
