  During this internship, I worked intricately between supply chain and production engineering to streamline an existing process. As lead, I utilized a problem solving process toolkit to come up with a recommendation that was, at the end of the internship, approved. We worked for eight weeks, holding daily meetings to understand the current process, as well as worked on our recommendation and eventually held a presentation to show the new recommended process. When I wasn't working on the process improvement project, I worked closely with buyers to understand the procurement desk. I worked actively within SAP, CLM, Enovia, and other softwares to send out Purchase Orders, perform cost analysis for procurement of parts, and other required functions for the daily buyers job. I also sat in on calls with suppliers and gained an understanding of the accountability of their relationship.
