  STATICA Consulting Engineers and Architects is a design firm founded in 2003 in Istanbul. The Company performs structural design, engineering and consultancy services at international level. The field of expertise of STATICA includes; seismic evaluation and retrofit projects, renovation of historic structures, performanced based design of structures, preliminary and final detailed design of structures in accordance with current national and international design codes, preparation of structural construction documents, planning and evaluation studies, feasibility analysis, value engineering and peer review services for large scale and complex projects.In addition to structural design services for existing and new structures, STATICA has also participated in research and development studies in collaboration with academicians. STATICA staff have been involved in the Third Stage Evaluation studies of the Zeytinburnu Pilot Program of Istanbul Earthquake Master Plan, under the direction of faculty from METU, ITU and Kandilli Observatory-Bosphorus University. Through this work they have contributed to the development of the new Turkish Seismic Code (TDY 2006).STATICA has also collaborated with various faculty in preparation of technical material for the nationwide education of the new Turkish Seismic Codes (TDY 2007 and TBDY 2018).Along with structural design of several new residential, commercial and industrial complexes; STATICA has completed the seismic performance evaluation and retrofit design projects that add upto well over 100,000 square meters of construction area.
